Natalie's First Easter

Our first Easter weekend with Natalie was nothing short of amazing. We so enjoyed having our girl with us and look forward to many more. On Saturday we kicked off our weekend by going to the egg hunt at church. Natalie of course wasn't old enough to hunt the eggs or even get outside considering it was cool and misting but we did get to socialize inside. Then we came back to Nana and Papa's house and dyed Easter eggs.

She was all into it.

On Sunday, we went to church and Natalie stayed in the nursery for the first time. Daniel and I helped with children's church which was a blessing in and of itself. I love to hear the Easter story out of 3 and 4 year olds mouth. There is nothing sweeter. After church we went and ate lunch at Jane and Keith's with Maw Maw Betty's family. Then we made a visit to Chris and Tara's where I did not get any pictures because Natalie was beyond ready for a nap
Checking out what the Easter Bunny brought.

Once we returned home we got a phone call that the Easter Bunny was on his way to visit Natalie since I was the horrible mother and didn't take her to see the one in the mall. (There's just something about some unknown person in a costume holding my baby that I wasn't too crazy about!) Natalie really seemed to like the Easter Bunny next year so I am anxious to see what next year brings.

My favorite :)

Hopping away until next year. :)

Natalie: 4 months

At 4 months you...
  • weigh 13.5lbs
  • are 23.5in long
  • love to jabber
  • slobber constantly
  • sleep ALL night (and this week during Spring Break, you slept until 8:00 which made mommy happy) you have been sleeping through the night since 3 months but I didn't want to brag to soon so we haven't really shared that info.
  • think you are a big girl and have to sit up all the time
  • wear 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers
  • met your new pediatrician which we LOVE

Georgia Aquarium

A few months ago Jared and Alli invited us to go to the aquarium with them but then it never happened because we had birthday parties to attend and then life happened a few weekends. Yesterday morning Alli texted me and wanted to know if we would like to go to the aquarium with them today. We didn't have any plans so we loaded up and tagged along.
It was crowded but Natalie did great and Addie loved the fish so overall it was a successful day. It was so crowded it was hard to get many pictures but we did manage to snap a few.

I think Addie could have stayed and watched the penguins all day long.

The sun was pretty bright in case you can't tell. :)

Maw Maw Ruby

This afternoon Daniel, Natalie, and I went to visit Maw Maw Ruby and Paw Paw. Aunt Carolyn had called and wanted me to go take some pictures of some of Maw Maw's flowers so we had a pretty day and decided we would go and do that. It was a little cool outside but the sun was shining. Natalie sat inside with Paw Paw and her Daddy while me and Maw Maw went and snapped a few pictures.

She would probably kill me if she knew I took this picture but I love it.

After the picture taking of her flowers, we went back inside so she could love on Natalie. I am beyond grateful that Natalie is able to have two of her great grandmother's here to help spoil her rotten. This lady played a major role in spoiling me and I love to watch her do the same thing to my baby girl.

I think it is safe to say that Natalie loves her. They adore each other.

Happy Birthday Kynlee

Over the past 3 Saturday's we have celebrated Madilyn's, Hudson's, and MaKenna's birthdays.

Today we celebrated Kynlee Grace's first birthday. I cannot believe how fast a year went by and she's not even mine so I can only imagine how fast time is fixing to really fly by for Natalie.

Natalie and Lawson getting some bonding time in :)

Braden and Andrew were to busy playing outside for a picture...

and MaKenna didn't last long!

I just love this little girl.

The birthday parties have been fun and we wouldn't trade them for the world, but we are wore out and are looking forward to a Saturday of nothing to do.

Tummy Time

Natalie is not crazy about tummy time but will endure it. She does a fabulous job at holding her head up and tummy time is a lot easier if I put Mickey Mouse on the T.V. for her.

I could stare at this sweet face all day.

I may or may not have taught her how to stick her tongue out.
