Christmas Day

Our girl played so hard Christmas Eve and Jane and Keith's that she slept until 7:15 this morning. When I asked her if she was ready to see if Santa came she got very excited. I wished I had gotten a picture of her fact. She finally made it to the living room to see what Santa brought.

Checking out her new toys.

Carter is checking out what all Santa brought him.

Taking a break to have a pre-breakfast snack.

She has the unwrapping thing down to a tee.

Showing Carter his new toys.

He was soaking it all in.

After seeing what all Santa brought and a little playtime we got ready and headed to church to celebrate the real meaning of Christmas. This is my favorite part of the day. We sing Christmas carols, Bro. John reads the Christmas story from the Bible, and then the kids get to tell what they got for Christmas.

After this we headed to Aunt Janie's for the Porter Christmas gathering. I am ashamed to admit I didn't get the first picture. :/
Then we went to visit Daniel's parents, again no pictures :/
Our last stop for the day was Bethany and Josh's where we had Christmas with Maw Maw Betty.

In case you didn't know my child LOVES Kynlee Grace

She was ready to crash.

Beyond blessed to still have Maw Maw here.

Carter had the couch to himself.

We had a BIG day and it seemed like we were here there and everywhere, but we are so blessed to have family to spend it with.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is pretty laid back for us. We spent the morning playing and napping. Then after lunch we got ready and went to PaPa and Nana's to open gifts with them and Uncle Jake and Aunt Misty!

Love my babies and to see them  loving on each other melts my heart.

This girl loves her Maw Maw Betty

After doing Christmas with Papa and Nana and getting in a little playtime with our new toys we headed to Jane and Keith's for the Foster Christmas gathering.

Bryant and Carter

The trampoline was a huge hit for Natalie this year.

Carter: 2 months

At 2 months you:

  • Weigh 11-12lbs
  • Height 23in?
  • Wear size 1 diapers
  • Size 0-3 month clothes but we are fixing to have to move up.
  • LOVE your sister
  • Eat 3-4oz every 4 hours
  • You love to sleep on my chest (I think you are going to be my child that loves to snuggle)
  • Get up 1-2 times a night (when and if you ever get on a schedule maybe this will get better. I am not complaining about 1-2 times because as a newborn you would get up every 1-2 hours a night)
  • Keep us all on our toes
  • Hate your car seat sometimes you will settle down when we start rolling but not always
  • Are becoming more alert and stay awake more during the day

Playdate

KG and her momma came over this morning for a little playtime. The girls had a blast until nap time rolled around and well then they just needed their naps. Natalie crashed 5 minutes after they left and slept for a good 2 hours and if you know my child she doesn't nap that well for me at home. 30 minutes is good for her so you know she played hard.

Christmas Parade

Growing up I remember always looking forward to the Christmas Parade. Back in my day the parade was on a Saturday morning and included many floats. Now the parade is on a weeknight. Either way I couldn't wait to carry Natalie. This year it was just me and her, Carter stayed with Nana, but we did meet up with Kynlee Grace and Aunt B.
I was unsure how Natalie would do with all the sirens but she did just fine.
