Natalie: 18 months

At 18 months you:
  • weigh 26lbs.
  • are 31in. long
  • wear size 4 diapers, and size 18 months - 2T clothes (it all depends on the brand), and size 5-6 shoe
  • have 12 teeth
  • have developed quiet the vocabulary lately....you can say... mommy, daddy, bubba, Carter (Ta-ter), Nana, Papa, Uncle Jake (UnDake), Aunt Misty (MiMi), cows (dows), gummies (nummies), milk, apple juice, Kirby (Tirby), blow bubbles
  • you sleep all night. You start out in your bed then at some point you join momma and daddy in their bed (Which is perfectly fine with me). You get in our bed and go right to sleep. So I still count that as sleeping all night :) It could be worse!
  • LOVE to be outside blowing bubbles or playing in the water and swinging

  • LOVE to dance if there is any music playing you are going to be dancing.
  • have shown an interested in Teeteeing in the potty so we are going with it. We were at home one day and  you said teetee mommy...I was shocked so we ran to the bathroom and sure enough she did....of course we celebrate every single time. Now she has a Minnie Mouse potty that she can use by herself and she loves it.  We ask when we change your diaper if you need to teetee sometimes you will go and sometimes you show no interest. At this point I wouldn't even say we are potty training we are just going with the flow when you are ready we will go.
  • had your second trip to the ER. (That's a long story and you still have the scar on your arm to show) Needless to say we are done with RMC in Anniston.

After a LONG night we finally got checked into a room.

This was after a little rest waiting on the doctor to come around.

Finally headed home (Notice her swollen arm :( )

The rest is just some random snap shots of our sweet girl

To say we are obsessed with shoes would be an understatement. Maw Maw Betty would be so proud.

Natalie loves to play in the water whether it is the pool, ocean, lake or bathtub

Carter: 7 months

At 7 months you:
  • weigh 19lbs.
  • are 27in. long
  • wear size 3 diapers
  • wear 9-12 month clothes
  • still HATE any green vegetables :( if it is a yellow vegetable you can bet your bottom dollar you will eat it.
  • we have tried table food and you are not interested in that either :(
  • are adjusting to a sippy cup for juice
  • are still a momma's boy
  • have said mama (you only say it when you are mad or upset but I will still count it) its precious
  • roll all over the floor....you have started to love being on your tummy and even sleep on your tummy some....I do believe crawling is around the corner since you can already hold yourself up.
  • are working on your own little personality and it is just precious. I love watching you and Natalie interact with each other. She is so high strung and you are just laid back and let her do whatever she wants.
  • love Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
  • are finally starting to show some interest in books
Nana bought you this tractor and you love it but rarely get to play with it because Natalie is always taking it. Guess she should have bought two.

Those blue eyes melt my heart daily.

All boy, he could care less about pictures

Carter: 6 months

At 6 months you:

  • weigh about 17 lbs.
  • are 25in. long
  • can sit up on your own (I still don't leave you for long because you like to throw yourself backwards)
  • love being outside and enjoy your swing your daddy and Uncle Jared put up for you
  • are still a mommy's boy
  • sleep all night for the most part. Some nights you wake up at 4 and eat.
  • are not the least bit interested in table food. You only eat fruits, and sweet potatoes, squash, and carrots. We have tried mashed potatoes, peas, and green beans needless to say you hate them.
  • have the sweetest laugh

Carter I cannot believe you are already six months old. That happened way to fast for this momma. You are perfect in every way possible and complete our family in more ways that one. We love you to the moon and back. I can't wait to see what the next 6 months have in store for you. (It could go a little slower though.)

Easter with Maw Maw Betty

The Nursing Home had their egg hunt today and I carried Natalie and Carter to hunt eggs with Maw Maw. Aunt Joann, Bethany, and Kynlee also joined us and Aunt Melinda too of course! :)

This girl loves her Aunt B.

She would rather play with the grass in her basket.

Love my babies. This was the best we could get. :)

She had found an egg and was taking it to show Aunt Joann

Natalie and Kynlee had to take a break to love on Carter

Double Trouble

Comparing eggs

This girl loves her Maw Maw

Two of my favorite ladies :)

Happy Easter

Life as Big Sister

I'm Natalie has taken on the role of big sister like a champ. It did not take her long to see what needed to be done and now she is my little helper when it comes to caring for Carter. If he is crying and I am busy she will find his paci wherever it may be (I try to keep it close) and take it to him and put it in his mouth. She helps me feed and burp him. He is the only one that gets Natalie kisses and while I would love some Natalie kisses I think it is super sweet. She will give out hugs but kisses are for Bubba only. As soon as she wakes up in the mornings she goes straight to his bed to check on him. If he is already up she will look at me with a serious look, hold her hands up and say Bubba. If he is still in the bed she will crawl in there with him and love on him. It is too sweet.

Sometimes it's just plain exhausting!

Natalie:15 months

At 15 months you:
  • weigh about 24lbs.
  • last dr. apt you were 30in. tall
  • are officially a walker. You have taken a few steps here and there but last night we were at Nana's and you just took off. It is absolutely precious
  • have your daddy wrapped around your little finger along with Papa and Uncle Jake
  • can say Hey, Bye-Bye(which is in a really deep voice), Nana, Papa, Dake(Jake), get(which you say to dogs), Bubba, some form of Carter comes out occasionally, stop, Daisy, juice, and milk....You are constantly talking up a storm so I imagine this list will increase quickly
  • love to dance and be outside
  • love animals Uncle Jake and Aunt Misty take you to feed the cows when the weather is pretty enough and you love it
  • are a fabulous big sister and are such a big help
  • are a great sharer at the moment...you love to share you food with Kirby and if anyone asks you for a bite or drink you will share.
  • sleep part of the night in your bed and part of the night in Momma and Daddy's bed which is perfectly fine with me.
  • are growing up entirely to fast. I say all the time it honestly feels like you were just born last night and Carter was born just this morning. You definitely keep all of us on our toes but we wouldn't change a thing for one single second. You are loved more than you will ever know.

She was the happiest little girl. I forsee a sandbox in her near future.
